Spring time is here and that means outdoor festivals are right around the corner. I love everything about the fun and relaxed atmosphere that a concert brings. Spring has always been my favorite season as it lets me channel my inner boho chic self which is loose hair, flowy tops and bottoms and au naturale makeup. My problem is I never know what to wear to these gatherings. Sometimes it can we extremely hot and humid or Mother Nature can surprise you with showers. No one can predict what will happen before the day but I usually prepare myself with outfit ideas that can keep you cool in a large crowd while also keeping you warm if there is a breeze. Below are some of my choices for my festival attire. Word of advice is always wear SPF and never choose a romper (removing your entire outfit to use the restroom is not something you would want to do.) Let me know some of your outfit choices.
Whether you’re over the dark colors of winter clothes then it’s time to transition your wardrobe with spring pastels. Wear this trend right without looking like an Easter egg by adding a white blazer for casual attire or toughen up your look with a black moto jacket. The leather and pastels create a soft yet sleek look. Add wedges or espadrilles for a summery style. If you’re really confident try doubling your hue with a top and bottom but adding another delicate color in a clutch or a pump. Wear pink rose gold to keep the ensemble fun. One thing for sure baby blues and soft pinks aren’t just for toddlers anymore. What’s your favorite pastel color?
This week VF Outlet held a sample sale for VF Outlet employees. Everything but the winter coats was a dollar! I was surprised by how many cute items were displayed and for such a great price it was like Christmas came early. I bought a pair of Gap sexy boot cut jeans for only $1 when normally they would go for $50 online. They had everything from men’s apparel, sports apparel, home goods, toys, kids and junior’s apparel, Misses, as well as sleepwear. Everyone walked out of the store with at least one bag. All proceeds go to the Animal Rescue League. Thank you to all employees who came out to support them.
